Whirlpool Duet WFW9750WW (washing machine - freestanding)

Pros: Based on my problem, I cannot list a pro because I am so unhappy and disappointed!

Cons: When using "delicate" cycle does not dispense fabric softener per Engineering-did work for approx. 10 months, does not tell you this anywhere in user manual.

Summary: I will not buy a Whirlpool product again due to their TERRIBLE customer service.

I bought my front load washer (model: WFW9750WW01) in January 2011. Around October 2011, when using the delicate cycle, it stopped dispensing fabric softner. After 9 service calls and 3 months, I was told: per engineering, my model does not dispense fabric softener during delicate cycle (funny, it worked for 10 months), this is not explained in the owners' manual because they can't put everything in and most people don't read it anyway (okay....), none of their models dispense fabric softener on the delicate cycle, and finally fabric softener will not dispense on the silk, wool, hand wash or quick wash cycle (hummmm, I've used fabric softener on the hand wash and quick wash cycles and it dispensed).

I am SO disappointed with how this issue was handled by Whirlpool and therefore I will not recommend buying one to anyone, nor will I purchase another Whirlpool appliance.
