"Note + Gear, The Perfect Combination!"5.0 starson by societyofosiris
Pros: Stylish, Highly Customizable, Responsive, Android 4.3, Bluetooth LE, 4GB storage, Thin Client approach (saves on storage), Applets vs. Apps (easy on developers), Solid Phone Functionality, Full HD Camera, Voice Controlled, Side-loading multimedia.
Cons: Limited Apps (will improve with time), Battery (could always be better), Price ($250 make this reasonable, $200 would be ideal)
Summary: I added the GALAXY Gear with great hesitation about it's overall usefulness. I was dead wrong! The GALAXY Gear took calls and responded to text messages with ease. The battery lasted 2 working days (After I turned off the wake-up setting). I also use the voice-activated timer, pedometer and music control while working out or jogging.
I had my doubts about the camera on the GALAXY Gear but then I realized that although the quality may be only as good as the front-facing camera on my GALAXY Note 3, it was perfect for bar code scanning and taking photos of business cards and coupons (now if only someone would write an extension app for my favorite phone apps.)
