Mediocre
The good: Scans mail for viruses; fewer ads than with other free Web-mail services.
The bad: Only 5MB of storage; can't sort in-box messages or create rules for filtering mail; no spam filtering; sends AOL marketing sludge to your primary e-mail account; pricey tech support.
The bottom line: Don't bother. Netscape Mail is totally outclassed by any of the other free Web-mail services we've seen.

Netscape Mail is free, but a royal painby maxzone - April 20, 2005
Pros: Netscape Mail is free and it may be great if you want to use Netscape instead of Internet Explorer. It, now, offers 250 MB of space.
Cons: Netscape Mail's Address Book is useless without Netscape as your browswer. You must accept ALL cookies. There is no choice of fonts, etc.
Review:
I happened on the Netscape Mail and thought why not for the 250 MB of webmail for free. First of all, you are required to turn off any (all) cookie control. Unless you use Netscape as a browser, the Address Book is useless unless you want to manually add entries one at a time. Under the Address Book's Help, it tells you can download a "tool" by clicking on "Accessories". That link is not there unless you are using Netscape as your browser. There are no choices of Fonts (or size & color). It is free, but there are better -- more manageable freebies. Netscape Mail is a dog unless you are fond of AOL and all that entails.

Better than hotmailby Zeato - April 20, 2005
Pros: Better than hotmail
Cons: 5MB storage
Review:
I dont understand why Netscape got a mediocre reviewer rating while hotmail got a good rating. Netscape is much better than hotmail and offers twice the storage.
