"Better options out there"
Pros: Good web interface, good spam filters
Cons: With free account, no email forwarding or email access except via web
Summary: With Google Mail on the scene, Yahoo's continued stubbornness to prevent accessing your email from a desktop application like Outlook or Entourage, or the ability to forward your email address to another account, unless you pony up the cash, is simple greed. Even if you have the paid account, you're still inundated with web ads when using the browser interface. Plus the domain @yahoo.com is so synonymous with spam, I'm embarrassed to use it or afraid my email will get flagged as spam by the recipient.
