"Yahoo email has horrible customer service"
Pros: No pros whatsoever
Cons: My email has been down for over a week, they have not helped me at all
Summary: I have used yahoo email for roughly five years. My email stopped working on last Tuesday, August 30th. There is no way for anyone to send me mail, it can't be a space problem and my space quota is no where near maxed out. I sent a message to Yahoo on Tuesday, September 6th, that my email wasn't working. I sent two more messages on the following wednesday, and have so far only got an automated response that clearly means they did even read my email. The response claimed that "Maybe the email was sent after you logged in." I have tested my email numerous times, it is still down. I would not recommend Yahoo email to ANYONE, and will probably switch. My wife has a Hotmail account and when she had a problem, they quickly responded to her. I would rate Yahoo in the negative if I could, no one can email me.

I had a problem Yahoo! identified as my
Browser (Firefox). As a MCSE holder, I figeured it as the Yahoo! site. Twice I explained exactly what the problem was on 2 different browsers and unsing both Windows and Linux.
After the 3rd time explaining it, the problem went away. Still, I received 2 messages telling me how I could correct the problem. Honestly, I think they're in India. With support there, you receive the nicest assistance with the least amount of expertise. They all must be students who read English, but don't know how to respond to a customer's issue, written in English. -
For years I have been using Yahoo.com, recently I have added my web hosting and multiple email addresses to my account. I am happy with all services except customer service...they are the least trained and unintelligent group of people ever to be paid to sit on the other end of a phone line. For those of you still searching for a customer service ph #(866) 800-8092 this covers tech. support, email for personal and small business use.
