"WORST I'VE EVER USED"
Pros: I actually like NOTHING! Seriously. The entire design is lacking. There is no built-in mike. You use the headset/mike that comes with it so you lose your speakers. The focus or LACK thereof is manual I has 0 depth of field even in a bright room
Cons: Just about ALL cept the well designed mount. The mic in the headset in a dongle & even w/my SoundMAX card set to max gain has be held close to my lips. My version is a VF0230, the VF0410 _WITH THE SAME MODEL NAME SO BEWARE!_ only gain buitin mic.
Summary: Everything about thie design speaks of absolutely no end user testing. I got this today as a Valentine's gift and I can't tell my honey what trash it is. I have sent a plea to Creative to xchange for the one webcam that may be ok from them, the Live Cam Voice for which I would add some $$$. I suspect I'm dead in the water and will have to blow this thing out for 99-cents on eBay. They are already blowing them out for $30.00 off ($19.99) on their site. I'm really shocked at how bad the specs are for just about all their other cams. I have used their ZEN products for a few years and am very happy. Oh well, live and learn, or should that be Live! but check it out completely first. I would have liked to have thought that Brand quality is consistant from a company, but apparently not. Can you tell how extremely disappointed I am? There is just zero redeeming features to this product, and on close inspection, even some of their top line ($99 list) cams use the same terrible headset but I had to dig to find that out.
