  • "Good for personal pictures"
    on by averyt14

    Pros good quality, adjustable focus

Cons Clip either to big or to small

Summary This is a good web cam for personal use. The install disc doesn't give the option just install the driver but you have to download the the logitech camera software which is somewhat unnecessary.

  • "Nice, if you can get it to work"
    on by gssr1

Pros very good picture even in low light

Cons Rarely works and constantly freezes.

Summary I have tried this software on three computers with the same result, extremely difficult to load the software, once it is loaded it is a 75% chance it will freeze the computer when I try to use it with Messenger. And it will not work with Vista. I rarely have issues with compatibilty, this product is the worst.

  • "Be careful if your notebook is Dell"
    on by bratan007

Pros Small, looks nice, focuses great, works in low light

Cons Will crash (BSOD) some Dell laptops (read more), painfully slow framerate, face tracking is dumb

Summary Had some serious problems with this webcam straight from the beginning. Everything got installed fine, but when I started to use it it would cause Blue Screen of Death crash every single time. After digging in Logitech forums, found out that this is quite common problem with this and some other Logitech cameras. Logitech's Audio Echo Canceling feature (AEC) is causing conflict with Laptops chipset. Remedy was to disable AEC feature, after that everything started to work. However I was disappointed by the amount of lag this camera has, even on the faster machine. I didn't see this much lag from cheaper webcams (such as Microsoft VX3000). Overall it's very small, and price not that high, so I guess it's an OK camera. I would never give it a 7.3 tho...

  • "Small Guy Does Great Job"
    on by rcordeiro12

Pros Portable, Good Quality, Good Lighting, and even Matches My Notebook

Cons Does not Stand By Itself

Summary I very pleased with what I got. I did a lot of homework searching for a webcam, and I am satisfied.

Pinches onto notebook lid and thats it!

Easy to install, that is when you have the software. But you can download it from the logitech website.

I use the cam for yahoo messenger, msn messenger, and skype.

    Works Great. No Complaints

  • "Fooey! It doesn't work."
    on by kgabqnm

Pros Tech suuport tried to help.

    Cons Doesn't work.

Summary Doesn't install. the microphone actually seems functional, though... days of emails with product support (In India, I think) telephone support never got me a human being. I've BUILT computers from components, and dealt with installation glitches before. Worthless. I'd rate it a zero if I could
