This is great webcam. Best video of any I've had.

Pros: The video is near flawless thanks to the 90 frames per second rate. I use it with Skype and it is pretty clear and without delay or flickering. Great audio quality. I don't use it much for photos, but I've taken some and they're very good quality.

Cons: No case for it. I throw it in my laptop bag, so a protective case would have been nice.

Great camera, great price

Pros: Fantastic framerate with a good clear picture even with fast movement, bright, clear photos at 6MP, and ease of use make this camera a definite winner.

Cons: Philips customer support is horrible. I had a basic problem and it took 4 calls to get it resolved and I ultimately ended up helping the rep solve the problem. The camera, at least in my case, could not automanage itself. It kept turning on/off.

Review: If you're looking for a decent webcam at an affordable price, the Philips SPC1300NC is definitely for you. Before you go to your local store, it's worth looking online as price difference can GREATLY vary.

Overall, this product lives up to all the hype. Video is clear, pictures are fantastic.

great for what i need it for...

Pros: Camara looks better the my iSight. Works just fine with my iBook G4.

Cons: software did not install because was not compatible with a MAC.

Review: I thought it was worth my money..

camera is nice, software sucks

Pros: nice compact lightweight design, built-in mic, 8x digital zoom and 6mp camera, nice specs

Cons: bundled VLounge too bloated
no advertised specs without VLounge, 30 FFS at best
no audio input function, mic just doesn't function

Review: waste of money. specs don't work as advertised, mic doesn't work period, about the only thing nice about it is a blue light comes on when its in use. oh, and it doesn't mount to a standard LCD or laptop LCD at all unless you set it on top of the monitor. the built in clip doesn't clamp to the side like other models, which sucks because when I mount it to the top of my monitor, it shows the top of my head and thats it, and who wants to see the top of someones head.

bottom line, very sucky webcam
