Pros miis can play
Cons freestyle mode is boring
story mode is hard
Summary Mario Party 8:
In this family fun, party and adventure filled, e rated game, the real party begins. There are even extra games that your miis can play!! This game only has 2 flaws. 1. the story mode is kinda hard (and) 2. freestyle mode gets boring after a while. The characters are Mario related and occasionally miis. Parents are worrywarts? Think it has to do with alcohol? Don't worry... I know what that's like. Tell them it's rated E and only has Mild Cartoon Violence.
Pros Extremely enjoyable with friends
Cons The formula stills the same, graphics are ok
Summary Here's a tip:If you're invited to a late night party, you should bring your Wii and Mario Party 8 instead of a beer pack.Mario Party 8 hasn't change anything from it previous entries, but definetly,is the best in the series.Although the graphics are not the best the Wii can offer, they look good for the Wii(even that sometimes everything looks blurry). But the show stealer are the new minigames, that all are controled by the Wii-Mote.The high levels of interactivity brings short lived fun. However, not all minigames are fun.
Ok,Mario Party 8 is kind of boring when playing alone. But invite a few friends and it will be a blast!
Pros some new games
Cons Not as fun as mario games b4
Summary Overall it wasnt what I expected not even better than the N64 marioparty titles
Pros Some fun games
Cons Too many cut scenes that replay every time you play the game. The games are just not that fun.
Summary As someone returning to Nintendo for the first time since the original NES I have never played any other Mario Party games and the only thing I have to compare to MP 8 is Wii's Warioware Smooth Moves. MP 8 becomes more tedious than fun. The games are fun but they're not the addicive fun that I found in Warioware. Addiitionally, the annoying cutscenes that were tolerable the first time continue to play every time I load the game. Overall, I got some amusement from this game and will play it for a while, but it likely will not stay in my regular rotation as long as Warioware.
