"Expected too much... Definitely was a let down" on by tjonesbusiness

Pros: Just enough to keep you entertained- funny

Cons: Relatively short, easy and mindless- camera angles are HORRIBLE

Summary: I will have to say that I had too much expectation when I bought The Simpsons Game. It starts by showing the cartoon which is clever and funny BUT when it switched to the game, I was floored at how horrible the graphics looked (not that you can expect a lot from the wii). The controls remind me of a bad playstation game from the late 90's. When you get close to the walls, the camera jumps all over the place and you spend forever trying to carefully step so that the camera will position itself for you to see.

There are many flaws to this game but I did keep playing. As stupid as I thought the gameplay was, I continued to push through each level and there is "some" satisfaction. I would recommend for a rental but would tell you to spend your $50 on something else. Personally, I'm taking it to Gamestop this afternoon and getting something else. If anyone wants it... ha, they will have at least one used copy for $44.99.
