"The more you know about golf the less you'll like it." on by kidshelleen511

Pros: Good graphics and realistic maps of the golf courses and players.

Cons: The announcers are wrong too often. The announcers don't know a birdie from an eagle, I've been told I'm 150 yds out when I'm on the green. I'm told I'm tied, when I've won the tournament. Sponsors paying you to promote items is cheap advertising.

Summary: All play is too easy, Standard play is at times unrealistic and makes no sense. You shouldn't have to devote your life to a game to enjoy it. An example: 10 ft off the green on a flat lie and a 100% chip goes 3 ft. Huh??? Sometimes even the slowest swing possible records a 100% swing. Also, I understand that a downhill putt should be hit at a lower percentage, but swinging 25% on a 75% putt shouldn't roll 10 ft past. Maybe a 12 yr old kid will devote his after school hours to figuring out the intricacies of the game, but this game mistakes illogic for difficulty. All in all a very disappointing piece of work. By the way, I shoot high 70's to low 80's so I do know how to play the real game.
