Cons Metro.
Win8 is supposed to be intuitive, but it isn't.

Users will learn it and adapt.

Cons Start screen serves no purpose over Desktop. The tiles have limited functionality including no navigation, etc. at the top of the page. Cons This update is way over the top (in a bad way). The startup times are slow (unlike the ads state), and the experience is too "simplified" (it is now impossible for advanced users to use). Cons It's a mobile OS. Too many compromises to make for the sake of the "Metro" UI getting in the way on the desktop. IE is still behind the curve of other modern web browsers and you are forced into a full screen mode that shows its mobile roots. on August 29, 2012 by ppgreat  | Read full review

Cons The MS app store needs more apps or it will fail to succeed on ARM PCs.

Although it works great on a laptop or desktop, MS should make Win8 a little more mouse and KB friendly.

Cons Upgrading from 7 took much longer than advertised and ended up having to be undone. I had Cons. Prev. installed on its own, on a different disk, but somehow the upgrade from 7 to 8 RTM got intertwined.
