Startup in mere secondsCons: NOTHING WORKS. It feels like whole chunks of the OS are missing or have lowered functionality.
Summary: I sit and stare at the useless tiles and think to myself "who is this for?" I immediately wanted to boot back into OSX to get back down to earth. But I tried to experience the new OS. It made me feel like I was using a really weird OS that is having an identity crisis.
No one is going to want this even if they believe they do at first. Most people are pretty simple minded when it comes to computers and though I think Windows 8's pretty colors and flashing blinking tiles will lure some...I think this is going to be a flop.
