Editor's note: On Friday, October 14, Microsoft released an update for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 looks polished before you even install it. Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005's core functions haven't changed since the OS's conception two years ago. Microsoft put in a lot of work to improve the quality of TV playback with Media Center Edition 2005, but we're still not completely sold.
