"Love the Beta!"
Pros: 1. The UI - 10x better than the traditional "Start" menu.
2. Super easy to organize files, navigate multi running apps and find information.
3. Simple to install. 2-3 clicks + 25 minutes.
4. Runs fast. Looks great.
5. Love IE8.Cons: 1. Don't like Media Player. Better than old version, but still a bit kludgy.
Summary: If Microsoft has an entire year to improve upon an exceptional beta product, then Windows 7 should be pretty incredible. It is the best Windows experience I've ever had by far. It installed fast, recognized all my hardware (except my smart card), and the UI is very compelling. I've only been using it for 4 days, and I love it ... and this is a beta of a product that will have 1 more year of engineering.
The beta quality is exceptional, and I believe Microsoft in on to something with Windows 7. I can't wait to see the product once it's done.
