Pros: almost worth waiting for another year

Cons: not worth using unless you got time to waste futzing with it

Summary: Couldnt be a bigger let down. UAC is a nuisance that brings security to YOUR doorstep, now You get to make ALL the Calls about whether the PC should get updates, or even chage the time or desktop picture, how useless is that. VERY. Microsoft not being one to admit they cant code themselves out of a wet paper bag, has dropped the ball, unable to finish what they set out to create...a New Version of Windows....only by name. Keep your XP, throw a new shower curtain over it and call it Vista...as far as doing an upgrade, wait until you re Forced. there is nothing new and worth owning, unless you are trying to help boost the MSFT share price, or make Steve Ballmer actually think he knows what the heck he is doing leading 60,000 programmer employees on a goose chase. if they catch your wallet, that was all they were after...hide it.
