"Exactly what I needed and more"
Pros: Easy to use, configurable, secure
Cons: A little expensive, but considering that it's a router, a modem and a wireless access point, kind of a deal actually
Summary: Perhaps in the "foothills" the phone lines aren't so good, but where I live this puppy regularly connects at or above 48K. I use the "default" login setting to connect with my local ISP (which is not on the list) and it works perfectly. The wireless net was easy to secure, the range (without external antenna) is excellent, I can whack the lightning bolt button to connect and disconnect instantly, and by the time I flip open my notebook and it wakes up, Google is waiting. If it wasn't for Always On Wireless taking the plunge, I'd be crawling under my house running telephone cable, so thanks AOW for an absolutely awesome product that does exactly what I need. And when I move back to civilization and get a high speed connection, I can still use the WiFlyer as a high-speed wireless access point, which is perfect.
