"Features! Security! Easy!"
Summary: Simply put, this is the ONLY unit on the market with the feature set I need both at home and in the Enterprise. If the emblem said Cisco it would sell for $1000+ and you'd probably rate it higher(: But this has MORE usable features than even a Cisco. Radius and LEAP security; single EASY mgmt util for a campus full of AP's, PPP out/IN, Bridge AP to AP to reach far away buildiings, USB print server, AOL dial up (incl full parental control support!!). Full SNMP support for my monitoring apps. Can be fully configed and deployed in 5 minutes and the firmware is automatically kept up to date each time you connect to it. Cisco's take hours, even a Linksys is way to complicated for a novice to config anything but the most basic settings, and many of the features simply don't work half the time. I don't know many admins, let alone home users that keep any other brand up to date unless it fails, simply because those are too much effort. And for tech support? The online help, design guides and KB are pretty thorough. Unlimited phone support is free for 90 days, but if you have ANY AppleCare contracts, all Apple peripherals like the Airport stuff is automatically covered for 3 years. Nobody else gives that kind of support. Please do everyone a favor and provide thorough reviews, or don't bother doing them at all as doing a partial job is more of a DISservice than a help.
