"Fast, ACL by MAC ID, Needs VPN" on
Summary: I got a "special" and paid only $450.00 for the starter kit with 2 pcmia cards. Very fast and reliable. Access control by mac id helps with security concerns. WEP sucks so Intel should include basic VPN functions. The "normal" price of $600.00 plus is too high for most home users but I'm a business user.

"Clumsy fan" on
Summary: We have five units and each has problems with fan noise. For the price, I'd expect higher quality construction.

"Wires required for wireless" on
Summary: Just having bought 2 units. Set-up OK. Once you go out a range of 7meter the communication is lost with only one brick wall in between. Returned the units after two days and they are now in repair ( strange for boxes both death on arrival or is the air in Europe more dense then in US
). Solution could be: by wires to take your hub with you. -
"It's fast and LOUD" on
Summary: Love this product, you should get it. But for some reason the FAN in my unit is so friggin' LOUD. Otherwise it's very cool, very fast.
