"Plenty of Bandwidth" on by jbrephan
Pros: Widely available in most big cities - seamlessly easy
Cons: I can't think of any!
Summary: In speed tests I get anywhere from 700 to 1.2 MGBPS. Plenty of bandwith for streaming audio or video.
I'm totally happy with this service... only $15.00/month for unlimited EVDO.
Take *that* Verizon! Can you hear ME now? -
"What can I say? But UNBELIEVABLE. I LOVE IT" on by kingtut210
Pros: Not Available
Cons: Not Available
Summary: This is the closest to perfect I have ever seen to date. I own a computer business here in orlando fl. and I must say that I am nothing but happy with this product and its services. This thing is great. Now when I showup to a customers home or business I dont need to carry there pc back to the shop to take the service pack updates from microsoft, I simply plug in the customers machine to the router and bam im online by bridging the pcmcia card to my ethernet port and out to the router. I also use vonage through this thing and you could use a wifi phone with it or the softphone offered by vonage or hookup a cordless phone to the phone ata and your talking unlimited phone for 24.95 and this is all brought to by the competitor. lmao What a riot. If this system was rated by siskel and ebert they would give it 5 thumbs up....

"Works all the places you want to be at..." on by ispsec
Pros: Internet Speed Anywhere
Cons: None. This thing just works.
Summary: I know it is weird to say 'no cons' but I must admit that I have yet to find one. I picked up the service from Sprint and in 10 minutes was up and surfing.
I could not believe the speed for truly being wireless. The great thing about this is flying from city to city and popping the lid of my laptop and BAM! The Internet at a decent speed from the car on the interstate going 60mph.
Riding in the back of a car that picks you up at the airport and checking email, surfing the web, and checking stocks before you ever get to your hotel is awesome and a time saver.
I never have to worry about internet connectivity at hotels, hotspots, or conferences I speak at ever again. I cancelled my T-Mobile account and have been very happy.
$60 a month for being truly mobile... Priceless. -
"Faster, Better Coverage than Verizon" on by telecominsider
Pros: Speed of 1-1.2M everywhere
Cons: Why is Sprint keeping their speed advantage a secret?
Summary: I have both a Verizon card (Novatel 620) and a Sprint card (Novatel 620). Sprint performed much faster (about 30%) every place i ran tests. And the card was FREE. (I paid $99 for my Verizon card). I even streamed music. Verizon doesn't allow that.

"Ok at times, but very inconsistent." on by Cainab
Pros: Good bandwidth when working; large coverage area.
Cons: Not at all reliable.
Summary: When I started using Sprint Mobile Broadband, it work great. . . for about a month. For the last 4 months the connection strength has been very inconsistent, even when stationary. At home, my signal will vary from -67dBm (normal for my location) to -115dBm, at which point it is unusable. If it wasn't for the large coverage area, I would get rid of it.
