"Another great Ace Combat game"
Pros: Online play, great controls and graphics, dynamic solo gameplay
Cons: Still missing AC5 great features, stock, predictable storyline.
Summary: Overall I'm very pleased with AC6, even though it doesn't quite live up to the high standards that AC5 has set for me. The wingmen are better, the missions more dynamic, and the variables are so great that you could probably play the game on solo many times and never get the same experience. Online play opens up a whole new element and let's you finally go up against and play with other players over Xbox live.
On the downside, we're still missing some great things that make AC5 a better game. A great storyline that departs from your standard..bad guy attacks, we are on the verge of defeat, and then, through our skill and heroic flying, turn the tables to defeat them...is missing. In AC5, the "bad guy" and the good guys change constantly and the storyline was absolutely amazing. The interaction between your 3 wingmen, which included you, made you feel like you were part of the storyline, This is missing from the AC6 and I was disappointed to not see it in there.
Overall it's an excellent game and if you are an Ace Combat fan, it's a must have. If you have never played any of the games in the series but would like to, this is a good time to get into it, although I recommend you play Ace Combat 5 a few times first.
