"Not What I Expected"
Pros: Nice Hunting Gear, Different Variety of Weapons, Boring Tournaments
Cons: Poor Graphics, Hard Fishing Controls
Summary: When people hear the name Cabela's they think of hunting and fishing. When people hear Cabela's video games they think it will give the same experience you get when you're really hunting and fishing. This game doesn't give you that same experience.
I'll start off by talking about the graphics and animations. The graphics are not so great except for cracks in ice and the water in streams. The environments are beautiful and open but that's about it. The animations are really good with all grass swaying. The animal death animations are humorous as well as the animal calls sounds.
I'll end the review with some closing comments.
If you want a game that really doesn't deliver as well as you may have thought with hunting and fishing then get it. If you are a true hunter and/or fisher stay as far away from this as possible. Only gamers that don't hunt and fish will have fun with this game.
