"Great game with some minor disappointments"
Pros: Excellent Multi Player
Cons: Loss of features from COD3
Summary: While this game boasts many wonderful features, especially multi-player, I wanted to provide a very detail critical review to discuss overlooked frustrations and disadvantages of the game. since you can find praise on the game everywhere. This game is by far one of the best games I have played to date. That being said there are some disappointments and frustrations that can be rather annoying especially for those just starting out in the game.
First back step from COD3 is the lack of manable vehicles. While this isn't a deal breaker the maps on COD4 are rather large for the most part. Sometimes, especially in smaller games it makes the game feel slower.
Second back step from COD3 is the inability to play multiple players on the same Xbox on live. This feature was fun for COD3 and it's just not available in COD4.
Annoyance 1. COD4 provides you bonuses for kill streaks which is very rewarding. However if your the new guy and air raids and helicopters keep taking you out it becomes very difficult to get acclimated. Additionally the helicopter makes some rather exaggerated and annoying kills at times.
Annoyance 2. The customizability and depth that COD4 provides is terrific however, coming in new can be frustrating because everyone seems to have better guns and abilities then you. While you get to start out with any gun you want... the enemy can to.
Annoyance 3. The match making in this game leaves something to be desired. Matchmaking is a lot quicker then I have seen with other shooters recently, however it sometimes throws you into grossly disproportiante teams at times.
