"Good game, but not worth the hype"

Cons: Short off line play-Cannot restart where you saved
Summary: I'll probably get a lot of hate mail type replies to this review. I really enjoyed the game, but with all the hype I guess I just expected more....better graphics, a longer story line. I think Lost Planet is prettier. I finished the off-line version in about 5 hours. I'm not a big on-line gamer so it's like...."OK, I'm done...Now what?"
My only beef with the game technically is that once I turned off the console when I went back the next time to play the story line again the game put me way back at the beginning of a "chapter" and not where I saved it.
Don't get me wrong. I really did like this game, but it left me wanting more.

With the exception of your all-in-one comp, you don't seem to like much. You even use the same lines "abysmal" and doesn't live up to the hype" repeatedly. Seriously, just because you're an unhappy person, don't pollute the ratings.

ok, so not everyone will like this game but let's be honest...you say you finished this game in 5 hours...what difficulty were you playing on? normal? cuz i'm a seasoned player going through on legendary my first time through and at 10hrs. im half way through. secondly, you CAN start at any point...if i save at midway i can start at midway. just look at what you get in this game compared to any other console game out and it is years beyond it...forge...never done before. saved films...never done before. team scoring....never done before. not to mention 4 player split screen which most games lack these days. then take all the online features including bungie.net and halo 3 sets the new standard. GOW might beat it graphically but graphics arent the standard. new innovative features set the standard. when you consider everything in halo 3, a short campaign doesnt matter. replay value is limitless. it makes you wonder if bungie is the only developer who knows how to make a feature full legit game. it might not be perfect to you, but name one other game that gives you more to do than halo 3?
