"Left 4 Dead leaves you Left 4 More"

Pros: Fantastic Co-Op experience. The repetitive levels is offset by the wonderful interplay between the characters and the dynamic AI spawns that keep each play through unique. The visuals are both creepy and funny, a must have 360 game.

Cons: Great with friends but frustrating with AI, this is not a single-player game. Some of the achievements are a little over the top and often requires a lot of luck and/or deliberate collusion to complete.
Summary: Left 4 Dead literally drops you into the Zombie chaos and uses the intro movie to set the stage, teach you about special infected and get your heart racing. The player doesn't really mind the lack of a true tutorial since most shooters share common controls; however the special infected controls are very cumbersome and by the time you think you've figured out what to do ... POP ... you're extra dead.

The NEW DLC adds a GOW2 horde mode without the break and without hope. Unfortunately, Survival Mode cannot be played without 4 humans because the AI will not co-operate with teammates or catch on when the team is trying to defend a fixed position. A serious patch for the DLC is needed ASAP to significantly reduce the number and frequency of special infected in Survival. At one point my squad was facing three hunters, two tanks, and had been vomitted on by a boomer. Survival is a fun concept, Slaughter is NOT. Once a fourth player joined we finally reached Bronze (4 mins and then Silver) but with an AI we never hit 3 mins. Perhaps Survival Mode could be tweaked to open up new areas as you survive, your opportunity to run and dig-in could improve. Perhaps do so far as to have an actual rescue after some inordinate amount of time? 15 min - failed rescue and then at 20 minutes an actual rescue - not to mention, there are currently NO achievements for sacrificing yourself to the Zombie horde?

That's my issue with the DLC but game itself is brilliant and a must have for anyone who's into co-op games.
