"Amazing game!!!!" on by Pattie-wattie
Pros: I loved the level design, the way Lara moved, and of course, as in any other tomb raider game, the plot.
Cons: Waaay too short, and even though all was resolved, the ending was kind of sad :(
Summary: This has to be the best Tomb Raider game yet. One of my favorite things about Underworld, is the way lara moved. Every time she tumbles, flips, dives, leaps, or falls, looks absolutely amazing and stunning. They used motion capture to create a realistic feel, and it more than payed off. It really makes her feel real. Another thing i really loved was that because of her flowing movements, it really came in handy when exploring and conquering the massive and quite beautiful environments, as well as perils of the game. Trust me, your jaw will drop when you explore the massive underwater levels of the game, just as well as the perfectly detailed underworlds and other places in the game. The story, as a continuation of 'Legend' is awesome, with a good handful of twists, and tragedies that make the game feel very epic. People complain about the combat in the game. It's really not that bad. She can fire at dual targets, perform adrenaline head shots on enemies, and has a few melee attacks for close encounters. As icing on the cake, some of her coolest areal moves are seen when diving and dodging enemies during combat. The only thing I didn't like, was that, much like Legend, the game was very short. And I'm not intending on spoiling anything, but the ending of the game, though all things accomplished, is over all kind of sad, but always keeps you thinking. A must buy, this game is freakin sweet! :D
