"Awsome racing game, police chases really add to the fun!"
on by contemplateinfinityPros Large driving environment, daylight racing, intense police chases
Cons A lot of AI cheating as you progress past the 4th place member, sometimes only luck wins the upper races. Police chases are boring for the first 2 minutes, until your heat level rises past 3.
Summary This is an awsome racing game! I have played every NFS game into the ground, and this tops the cake. I used to love NFS Hot Pursuit 2 for the police chases, but after hundreds of chases on the same routes, it began to dull down. NFS Most Wanted is such a large city environment, it would be difficult to get tired of those intense police chases, some of them lasting 12 minutes or more. Those are the ones that when finished, your heart is pounding, and you need a while to adjust back to reality. That's how you know it's a great game.
Now, the frustration can build towards the AI of the game. Frequently, the other cars will be ages behind and catch up within seconds, as you wonder how they went 200+mph around curves that you could only take at 120mph. The police also have to be enticed until the car's heat level gets to about 3. At heat level 4, the chase becomes a lot of fun... well, until the spike strip comes up on a blind corner and a great 10 minute chase abruptly ends. So, a few bloopers, but overall awsome racing that rivals the intensity of Burnout Revenge, another 10 of 10 racing game. -
