Too much G3 speed? Too much of a good thing is sometimes too much. In particular, several readers have complained that a G3 Mac may be too fast for WordPerfect. For example, Bill Flynn writes: "Ever since getting a G3, WordPerfect scrolls up or down like a bat out of hell. Too fast to control - it goes from beginning to end of document in a flash." Another reader complained of a similar problem with Font menus.
SerialDMA 2.1 Update problems Although we have not gotten negative reports here at MacFixIt, O'Grady's Power Page claims that Apple's SerialDMA 2.1 Update causes more problems than it solves.
Anubis Plus offer extended CharisMac Engineering announced that they are extending indefinitely their $14.95 upgrade and competitive upgrade offer for Anubis Plus V3.01. They are also adding Backup Mastery, their backup program, for an additional $5. Anubis Plus V3.01 adds support for HFS Plus.
