Some mid cycle refresh zed, a little bit of content, others add a lot.
This one's in the latter category Say hello to the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder.
Changes to the exterior of the 2017 Pathfinder are minimal.
The hood, front fascia and grill have been updated, and there is some new wheel designs, as well.
While it might seem like a light upgrade, it actually reduces the drag coefficient, helping fuel economy.
Nissan has updated its 3.5L V6 giving it gasoline direct injection.
That bumps power up by 24 to 282 horsepower and torque up 19 pound feet to 259.
That additional power also helps up its tow rating to a best in class 6,000 pounds.
Despite the additional power and torque, Nissan estimates its fuel economy will stay the same as it did before.

The interior of the Pathfinder is largely unchanged say for a lovely new center console design.
Two, USB ports up from the previous one as well as some fancy new trim finisher.
Along with the new center console, there's also a new touchscreen infotainment system.
What was once a seven inch unit, it's now eight.

There are two new safety features for the 2017 Pathfinder On the platinum trim, the car now comes with [UNKNOWN] collision warnings with autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, neither which were available before.
Nissan has also added a motion activated power lift gate to the rear.
So if you've been thinking about putting a Pathfinder in your driveway, you might wanna wait until September when the 2017 goes down sale.
