A dSLR power-zoom solution
Cannon's solution to the problem of putting the mirrorless camera like power zoom lens on the D-S-L-R is to connect to add specific connectors on the bottom of the lens which locks into an optional electronic zoom adaptor that rotates The zoom ray.
While the power zoom adapter looks big and clunky, it's actually a good size for holding with your left hand.
It has a zoom switch and controls for fast or slow movement and will be controllable via canon's remote app.
However, it only works with the new 18 1 millimeter f35 to f36 m lens.
