CES 2019: See this tiny, awesome dishwasher

Dishwashers
[MUSIC] Hey guys, I'm Iyaz Akhtar and I am with Bob, the world's most advanced dishwasher, at least that's what the company says it is. It's actually a small dishwasher meant for couples or single person, people who live in apartments, boats and RVs And get this, you don't have to hook this up to a water source if you don't want. It's got a build in integrated 3 liter tank. So you just fill that up with a jug or something. If you wanted to hook this up with water, you could do that. You just go to the back and hook it up. So this is a proto type model so it might be a little different when it ships. One of the best things about Bob is It's got style. If you don't like red, you can pick from 20 colors. The body, you can pick from two colors, black or white. On the front, we've got a display. So if there's an error message or something, you'll actually see it there. It's not a touchscreen, you interact with these buttons. And again, this is a prototype. Let's take a look inside of Bob. There's also this little circle here, little window. So now we're inside the Bob. You can see on the left is a heating element. It's exposed, you can clean it if you want to. On the right side is where all the food gunk will collect. You can clean that out as well. Bob is fully loaded. You got four plates, two cups, and utensil rack, which goes right in here. Which I will break. This is a prototype guys, so if something falls apart, like I just [NOISE]. That's great! I got it, the other, I saved the cup! [MUSIC] We'll look at the top of Bob, and we're on the backside. This is where you would put water, in this prototype. Now, I talked to the folks that designed this. They decided, for production, they're going to move this inlet all the way to the front. Which makes a lot more sense, since in small apartments, you're not gonna have a lot of room to They do this. We're gonna move that back there. We're at the back of Bob, you can see, it'll plug into any standard outlet, which is really great for apartments. Then you've got a water hookup, so if you wanna have water in this thing all the time, without refilling it, you have that option. And then this is for drainage. Bob will launch around September, for around 300 euro in Europe. It's coming to the US in 2020. Now, if you were wondering Why is it called Bob? The folks told me a great story about this. They said their inspiration was SpongeBob, everybody knows SpongeBob is a dishwasher. Their tagline is throw in the sponge get Bob. So I think it's time to say bye to Bob. It has been fun. Good luck buddy.
