Google to end free photo storage, F8 Refresh and WWDC kick off in the next week

Starting this Tuesday, June 1st, Google will end its free photo and video storage policy, for account holders.
After that, any stored media will count for to users, 15 gigabytes of storage that comes free, with every account.
The good news is that anything you've uploaded prior to June 1st is exempt.
The move encourages people to sign up for Google 1. It costs $2 a month, and it provides 100 gigs of storage.
Google has said that more than 4 trillion photos are stored in Google photos with 28 billion new photos and videos uploaded each week.
Two tech giants will be holding their annual developers conferences in the next week, and both will be virtual.
On June 2nd Facebook's FAA refresh will be live streamed on its Facebook developers page, but experts say don't expect to see mark Zuckerberg there to deliver the keynote address.
Facebook canceled last year's event due to the pandemic.
And on June 7th apple developers can tune into the company's live streamed keynote to kick off their five day WWDC.
Apple traditionally uses the conference to announce major software updates on its iPhone, iPad and Mac lines.
And finally next week, keep your eyes open for Amazon's announcement for the exact prime shopping dates coming up in June.
They're rumoured to be June 21 and June 22.
But the company has yet to confirm.
Every year Prime Days are a major shopping event with the company claiming nearly one and a half billion dollars saved.
