Lenovo's Yoga 730 is a versatile 13-inch 2-in-1 you'll want to take everywhere

The 13.3 inch LENOVO YOGA 720 was one of the best 2 in ones you could find last year for less than a $1000.
It's follow up the YOGA 730 is no different.
Still delivering a good value with excellent features and performance in it's category starting at $880.
Lenovo didn't really change much from the 720 moving up to 8th Gen Intel core I series processors is the biggest difference and it results in a noticeable performance boost and while battery life wasn't any better than the 720 add a little more than.
In eight house in our test, the 730 can now quick charge, getting you two hours of use off a 15 minute charge.
There are a handful of other changes like it now has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and Lenovo added far-field mic so you can trigger Microsoft's Cortana Digital Assistant.
And eventually Amazon Alexa services from up to 13 feet away.
And it's a little thinner and lighter too, which makes it more comfortable to use as a tablet whether that's with your fingers or the optional $60 Active Pen 2 with 4096 levels of pen sensitivity.
The price you pay for having something so small and thin is that you'll need to rely more on USB-C adaptors for things like ethernet or video output and there is no SD card slot either.
But that was the case with the 720 also and most other premium 2 in 1.

Not too much has changed for this update but what has been added is worth while and makes the Yoga 730 just as easy recommendation as its predecessor.
