LG QNED TVs eyes-on: Mini-LED, 8K resolution and nano color

Speaker 1: Hey guys, LG is best known at the high end for its ed TVs, but this is its Q N E D TV.
Speaker 1: Now this is an LCD based TV that uses quantum dot nano cell technology. That's what LGS calling it. It's new for 2022. This version is the highest end version. So it includes mini L E D back lighting. The idea there is to get even better black levels, even brighter color. And [00:00:30] LG says at the largest size, it can get up to 2,400 local DMing zones. So that's a lot expect really good image quality out of this TV. The issue of course, is the LG also makes ed TVs that aren't that much more expensive. And in some cases probably cheaper than this LG hasn't announced pricing yet. So if you're at that really high end, you might wanna gravitate toward the Ole TVs, which I've reviewed really love. I haven't looked at this Q N E D model yet, but I do expect to be very good picture quality for an LCD TV going quickly down the line here.
Speaker 1: This is the highest [00:01:00] end version. This is the Q N nine. This has that mini L E D technology as well as all the great picture quality fixins. If we step over here, we're looking at a step down version. This version does not include the mini LEDs, but it does still have full array, local dimming. All of these TVs use LGS IPS panel, which has improved off angle viewing, but not quite as it in terms of contrast compared to some other competitors out there. So we'll have to see how that performs. Once we gets a chance to test it. There's also an entry level [00:01:30] Q a E DTV that uses edge lit local dimming, which again, isn't gonna be as effective as either of the step up models, but will pretty much give you a little bit of contrast benefit. And again, that color benefit that LG is saying Q and E D provides. So again, LGS Q N E D. Technology is kind of an answer to the Samsung Q led TCL Q LEDs out there, but really not as good as OED TVs.
