Poor performance hampers this Whirlpool washing machine

I like the look of this Whirlpool top load washer.
At $990, the great finish costs more.
You can buy the same exact model in white for 100 bucks less but that metallic color plus it's cleverly laid out touch display Definitely makes it look better.
Whirlpool did a particularly nice job using the whole panel to list this washer's various features and settings, literally separating it into halves.
Choose what you're washing on one side and how you want to To wash it on the other.
A square display in the middle tells you how much time is left in the cycle.
Inside the washer drum is 4.8 cubic feet of space.
That isn't massive, but it's enough room to handle lots of clothes.
The most interesting thing here though is the water droplet button.
And toward the back of the washer.
Press it to turn on a steady flow of water where you can hand wash delicate clothes or treat tough stains.
Unfortunately, this Whirlpool model only manage to get rid of half of the stain we threw its way.
Yes the stuff we test with like age red wine and cocoa is hard o remove, but other washers fared much better with the same exact stains.
For that reason, this washer is right on the line And for me, in terms of whether it's actually worth it.
It might be if you want that super simple display but most folks will prioritize cleaning performance.
