The portable, affordable Fitbug Orb
Hello, everybody.
It's Lynn La from CNET and today we're gonna take a quick look at the fitness orb by Fitbug.
This little device is a fitness and activity tracker that you can wear and can attach to several accessories like a wrist strap, a belt or a lanyard, which by the way are all included when you buy the orb.
The orb is lightweight and sweat-proof and it basically keeps track of how many steps you took, how many calories you've burned, and how far you've walked in a day.
You can also wear it at
night and will measure how long you slept and how well.
Now the orb can send all these information through bluetooth to either a desktop computer, or your mobile device via a Fitbug app.
There you can see your fitness history for the week or months, set goals, and adjust how often you want the orb to send all these data.
Now unfortunately, the orb only works with a handful of mobile devices, but Fitbug did say it plans in expanding its compatibility soon in the near future.
Currently, it works for several iOS devices as well as the Samsung Galaxy S4, the S4
Mini and the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet.
If you're interested, the orb only cost $49.99 and you can purchase it directly from Fitbug, or Amazon, and Walmart.
Again, I'm Lynn and this has been a hands-on of Fitbug's Fitness Orb.
