Toshiba's high-end Kirabook gets it right in version 2.0

I'm Dan Ackerman and we are taking a look at the Toshiba -- book. This is the second generation of Toshiba's super high end machine. They -- with the idea of a whole new line called the -- -- to sort of compete with on the other super high end laptops that there. At the time most notably the -- MacBook Pro with Retina Display because this was. One of the first PC laptops that we have a -- with me better than HD display -- had -- 2560 by 1440 screen in a very thin very light that magnesium alloy body. Now the first generation had a couple of -- stats. On the base model which was still like 16100 dollars to have a touch screen on it even -- it has a high res screen. And when you wanted to move up it was closer to like 19100 dollars which really did seem crazy because even that was a very nice looking thin light laptop. It wasn't that much for game changer design wise. -- now this new version on makes a couple of improvements on the inside the -- actually looks the same although I think it's I think it's -- well -- like. Inside we've gotten current generation Intel has well -- CPUs and then gives us. Slightly better performance sure but actually better battery life which is one for me complaints about the first generation your book -- now I feel confident using this guy -- -- long. And now for 16100 dollars you can get a new core I seven CPU the 2560. By 1440 display. And of course it's a touch display -- they got rid of that. Non touch option which was not really even that much more or less expensive. I think compared to a lot of the other sort of -- in hybrid and ultimate -- laptops that come out last year since the original Kindle book. I think it would really done anything that spectacular design wise they're coming back to this will have months later.
