Yamaha's RX-V481 receiver is an engaging performer

[MUSIC] Feature filled and an excellent performer, the Yamaha RX-V481 receiver keeps the company's place at the top of the affordable home theater pile. This features a 5.1 channel output and four HDMI inputs. Sadly, this is down from last year's six So they are now completely compatible with 4k and HDR video. Looking to other connectivity, this has bluetooth and wifi streaming via the company's music cast system. You can use this to stream Spotify and Pandora, or networked music to the 481 and other Yamaha products in your house. Another feature that the company doesn't advertise, but does make a big difference is the ability to stream to a pair of blue tooth headphones. We found it works without lag and it's great for listening at night. User interface is an improvement on last year's and it's pretty easy to navigate.
